Breedon Trading Limited - Full Abstraction / Abstraction and Impoundment

Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Water Act 2003)

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006 that an application has been made to Natural Resources Wales by Breedon Trading Limited for a full licence to abstract water from an Underground strata at National Grid Reference ST 11840 82350 at Taffs Well, Heol Goch, Pentyrch, Cardiff, CF15 9PN. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates and periods for use to dewater old mine workings: 56.02 cubic metres an hour, 1,344.38 cubic metres a day and 490,700.16 cubic metres a year, all year.
