Who this service is for

This service is for applicants who:

• know their activity qualifies for band 3
• are ready to submit for their application

Before you start

You will need:

Charges

You will be charged £120 for every hour of the Marine Licensing Team's assessment time.

You will be sent regular invoices.

What happens after you apply

We will:

• review your application to check it's complete
• contact you if we need more information
• confirm by email when we have everything we need to assess it

Because band 3 applications are complex, we cannot give a timeframe for a decision.

We may carry out an early review of your proposed approach, called a 'fitness check'. We will contact you about this if needed.

If your files are too big to attach, email to let us know. We will then tell you what to do next.
