Rhyl Sluice penstock
Natural Resources Wales gives notice that it proposes to carry out improvement works to the Rhyl Sluice on the Rhyl Cut (NGR SJ 00580 80135). The proposed improvement works will involve the following: installation of a penstock, river level monitoring and solar supply.
Natural Resources Wales considers that the improvement works are not likely to have significant effects on the environment and does not intend to prepare an environmental statement in respect of them. Although an environmental statement is not proposed, the scheme design has considered environmental factors associated with the site and incorporated environmental improvements where feasible. The scheme design can viewed from the Natural Resources Wales Rhuddan Depot, Abergele Road, Rhuddlan, Rhyl LL18 5UE during the hours of 10:00rs – 16:00 Monday to Friday.
Any person wishing to make representations in relation to the likely environmental effects of the proposed improvement works should do so, in writing, to the address specified below, within 30 days of the date of publication of this notice.
