Water environment collaborative research priorities

Natural Resources Wales has developed a list of opportunities for collaborative research projects relating to the water environment in Wales.

The priorities outline an early indication of the research themes and projects which present opportunities for collaborative working with partners and academic institutions.

The evidence needs can be roughly categorised as:

  • Water quality
  • Monitoring
  • Water resources
  • Land management
  • Ecosystems

We welcome all enquiries and comments from those interested in working collaboratively with NRW to deliver our research needs. We are keen to hear of existing and planned research that could meet our needs, or if you have views on priorities or gaps in knowledge we have not identified.
