Mid Wales Area Statement Forest Resource Pitch Event for Woodland Creation
Natural Resources Wales' Mid Wales Area Statement Team will be holding a special meeting of the Forestry Resource peer group on Friday 5 February.
It will be a pitch event to allow people to share their ideas on how woodland creation can be increased in Mid Wales. The event will be held via Zoom.
The meeting will start with an update from the Welsh Government on the National Forest Programme, and a pitch from Miriam Jones-Walters from NRW on Repurposing Land Assets for Woodland Creation.
Other attendees will then have a chance to give a five-minute pitch on their suggested approach. It could be a project already in development or a new idea to sound out. Creativity is encouraged!
This will be a good opportunity to network and identify new ways of working. Attendees are invited to bring others along to broaden the conversation.
This event is open to the public. If you would like to pitch an idea, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday 1 February. You may provide up to two slides to present your idea.
If you would like to attend without pitching an idea, please email the same address by Thursday 4 February to confirm attendance. You will then be sent information on how to join the meeting.
